Ingredients:
Fish - 500 g
Small Onions - 8 No.s
Coriander - 4 Tbsp
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Chilly powder - 2 Tbsp
Oil - 4 Tsp
Salt - To taste
Tamarind - 10 gms
Garlic - 3 Pieces
Curry leaves
Method:
- Shallow fry coriander and chilly powder. It is to be ground well with onions and garlic.
- Fish is to be marinated with turmeric powder and salt. Kept aside for 15minutes at least.
- In another pan, pour some oil and sute marinated fish in low flame for 5minutes.
- Pour the paste to the pan and stir gently.
- Tamarind juice prepared is to be poured to the same and let to cook. Keep the pan closed.
- When it gets cooked well, garnish with curry leaves and suted small onions in oil.
