Naadan mathi curry -Traditional Fish curry



Ingredients:

Fish                      -     500 g
Small Onions       -     8 No.s
Coriander             -     4 Tbsp
Turmeric powder  -    a pinch
Chilly powder       -    2 Tbsp
Oil                         -    4 Tsp
Salt                        -    To taste
Tamarind               -    10 gms
Garlic                     -    3 Pieces
Curry leaves

Method:

  1. Shallow fry coriander and chilly powder. It is to be ground well with onions and garlic.
  2. Fish is to be marinated with turmeric powder and salt. Kept aside for 15minutes at least.
  3. In another pan, pour some oil and sute marinated fish in low flame for 5minutes.
  4. Pour the paste to the pan and stir gently.
  5. Tamarind juice prepared is to be poured to the same and let to cook. Keep the pan closed.
  6. When it gets cooked well, garnish with curry leaves and suted small onions in oil.
The curry  is thus ready...!!!! Will love it... really delicious
