Ingredients ( For cake):
- All purpose flour - Half cup
 - Cocoa Powder - Half cup
 - Powdered sugar - 2 cups
 - Eggs - 6 no.s
 - Melted Butter - 100g
 - Baking powder - 1 1/2 Tsp
 - Vanilla essence - 2 Tbsp.
 
- Water - 1cup
 - Sugar - 5 to 8 Tblsp.
 - Rum/ Whiskey - 2 Tbsp.
 
- Whipping cream powder - 200g
 - Ice water - 1 cup
 - Tinned cherries
 - Chocolate strands - 1 packet
 - Dark chocolate Bar - 1
 - Chocolate chips - 1 packet
 
 Method:
- Mix flour and cocoa powder along with baking powder.
 - Melt butter in a separate pan.
 - Beat eggs well such that maximum it becomes soft.
 - The powdered sugar is then added to the beaten eggs.
 - Further vanilla essence can also be added to it and beaten well.
 - The mixture of flour, cocoa powder and baking powder is then added to this.
 - Add warm melted butter to the previous mixture.
 - The oven should be preheated within this time and also the baking tin should be greased well.
 - The dough is then poured to the tray for baking at 250*C for 15 to 20minz.
 - Keep checking it with a tooth pick till the pick becomes unsticky when poked into it.
 - After baking cool it and cut into 2 or three pieces as desired.
 
- The sugar syrup is to be prepared using 1 cup water and 5 to 8 tbsp of sugar.
 - Add rum(2-3 tbsp) to it and mix well.
 - Keep in flame till it becomes a viscous form.
 
- Prick three layers with fork.
 - Add syrup to the layers and soak.
 - Pour one cup of ice water into 200g of whipping cream powder and beat well and then kept for refrigeration (15 minz).
 - Apply cream inbetween the layers.
 - Add peeled chocolates and cherries ontoit.
 
 Now the yummy black forest cake is ready to serve..............!!!!
