Lets make a tasty dish with a seasonal vegetable available nowadays.It will make a perfect combination for Chapatti and for poori too.
Kids will surely love this dish as it is not at all spicy...!!!
Ingredients:
Cauliflower - 1 medium sized
Chopped onions - 2 no.s
Green chilly - 1no.
Soya sauce - 2 Tsp.
Tomato ketchup - 15 Tbsp
Ginger and Garlic paste - 2 Tbsp
Maida - 6 Tbsp
Vegetable oil - for frying
Cornflour powder - 5 Tbsp
Salt - To taste
Coriander leaves - For garnishing
Method:
- The cauliflower should be washed with care, so should be kept in steam for sometime. You may try in idly cooker or in a usual bowl for 15minutes.
- The flower should be separated into petals.
- A paste is to be made with maida, cornflour, salt and ginger- garlic paste, add water to make a thick consistency.
- Dip the petals in the paste and fry in oil till golden brown colour appears.
- In another fry pan add a little oil and sute ginger- garlic paste, chopped onions and green chilly.
- To this add soya sauce and then add up those fried flower to it. Check the salt content and add if more is needed.
- The tomato sauce kept aside is to be added to it as much according to the gravy needed.
- Flame could be put off and transferred to a serving bowl and add up the leaves for garnishing.
If served for kids, you may add a little sugar also which makes the curry sweet for them....
