Ingredients:
Maida - 1 1/2 cup
Unsweetened cocoa powder - 3 Tbsp
Baking powder - 2 Tsps
Sugar - 1 cup
Vanilla essence - 2 Tsps
Milk - 3/4 cup
Eggs - 2No.s
Melted butter - 3/4 cup
Ingredients for frosting:
Softened butter - 3 Tsps
Powdered sugar - 3 cups
Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/2 cup
Vanilla extract - 1 1/2 Tsp
Luke warm water - 4 to 5 Tbsp
Method:
- Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Grease a tray with butter for baking.
- Mix flour ( maida), cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.
- Melt butter at low heat and add to it along with milk.
- The eggs are to be beaten well which determines the softness of the cake and is then added to the above mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to bake tray and bake at 350*C . Keep checking it.
- After cooling transfer to a plate and cut it into two equal halves.
- Mix all the components for frost.
- Apply it between the cut halves.
- Keep in fridge for sometime.
- It could be served as a dessert, which oozes excellent chocolate......
Cake is ready...............!!!!
